This was a speech I gave at the Harmony in Food and Farming conference in Llandovery, Wales in July 2017.

In 1967 Joni Mitchell wrote a song called Woodstock that included these lines:
“We are stardust, We are golden
We are billion year old carbon
And we got to get ourselves
back to the garden”
